Flower & botanical tattoos in Knoxville
Flowers, leaves and the small wild things are at the heart of Mariella's work. Her botanical tattoos are full-color neo traditional: confident outlines, saturated petals, and shapes designed to flow with the body rather than sit flat on it. She tattoos privately at Born This Way Body Arts on Kingston Pike in Knoxville.

Ideas that work well
Birth flowers and family bouquets. A single bloom or a cluster that combines the birth months of the people you love.
Flowers with meaning to a place. Plants with East Tennessee roots make personal pieces: dogwood, mountain laurel, magnolia, rhododendron, wild violets, the iris (Tennessee's state cultivated flower) or the passionflower (the state wildflower).
Flowers paired with an animal. Botanicals frame an animal portrait well, as in several of the pieces above.
Pieces that grow. Floral work is easy to add to over time, so a single flower today can become a half sleeve later.
